What is the «Grandma, it’s me» game?

A free 2-minute browser game. You play a grandparent who gets a call from a «grandchild» in trouble. Spot the red flags and hang up before the scammer gets your money.

Is the game based on real scams?

Yes. The levels follow the grandparent and family-emergency scripts that the FBI, FTC and Justice Department describe: an accident, bail, a lawyer who takes over the call, secrecy and pressure to pay fast.

Does the game record anything?

No. The game runs in your browser, sends no data and needs no sign-up.
